A very nice place to have a coffee and relax. The service was ultra friendly and the view from Oxford Street is nice. The food was good as well. Try to find a table outside on a hot day. It's awesome.
It’s a great family friendly cafe to have a pot of tea and 2 slices of delicious cake with family or friends after shopping. It’s on the 5th floor. The choices of cakes, drinks and another food were wonderfully good. The wifi in here was ok and there were some comfortable sofa seats available. The staff were also very attentive and polite. Only one thing that was not convenient was the disabled toilets on this floor were out of service. One of my family member had to take a lift to the disabled toilet on the other floor.
Really nice cake selection and to me a hidden gem in Oxford street! The passion fruit and coconut cake was interesting. The rooftop seating gives really good views of Oxford street and is worth going too for some food at a reasonable price
Nice food for a decent price. Super friendly atmosphere and good service. Lots of seating options.
Usually come here for coffee and cake. This time came here for breakfast. It was a good decision! The staff, as always, are polite and friendly. Went for 'make your own breakfast'. It was good to select what I wanted on my plate and to pay for what I wanted. 2 × beans, 2 × mushrooms, 2× toasts, 2 × bubble and 4 × hashbrowns for £11.90 between 2 people.
The service struggles to deliver food at busy times. We wanted the vegetarian curry from the daily menu not available Salmon quiche is all that we could have with a salad that was fresh but no olive oil dressing just processed prepackaged dressing, one variety. Lots of cake and biscuits but very few healthy options
A relaxing and casual cafe on the 5th floor of John Lewis & Partners. A simple and tidy pick, pay, and go/sit cafe.
I love this cafe. As I am always coming with my baby in a pushchair, the staff are always very lovely and carrying my tray to the table. Desserts are delicious. It is always busy.
Customer service was very poor. I felt like I was in a school dinner hall with the dinner lady shouting at the top of her voice to get the queue moving. Sandwiches and toasties didn't look very appetising. Floor around the seating area was filthy. I did however love the hot chocolate.
Probably one of the best views in all of London. Food isn't exactly great personal opinion... people who visit tend to really enjoy their meals because they mostly serve tea, pastries and bread with soup but I'd pay just to be able to sit on the terrace and watch the sun set. I asked and was told they'll start serving proper food soon so fingers crossed lol. Workers there too are just about the nicest people you'll meet. Clean too they disinfect every table after every use. Definitely worth a visit. The original English experience.
