Always nice. Very helpful staff. Lovely atmosphere. Easy disabled access. ****update**** for the first time ever I have tonight been disappointed (08.01.18). I ordered £15.05 Aberdeen Angus steak with scamp, medium rare. Came like shoe leather and full of fat. I returned it (we were sat by the serving hatch) and beard they young female "chef" say "I can't help that - it's how it comes" and then look my way. I told her it was like shoe leather and full of hard fat and she shrugged. After a pause I asked "can't you cook me another as that is like leather". She shrugged and said "suppose". All the time my scampi was left in front of me in a bowl going cold. Must say, the second steak was gorgeous. The waitress was lovely and apologised. Ate my cold scampi with the steak. Real shame as always been good before. Think the chef needs some customer service training or needs to stay away from the serving hatch where she can be heard.

What you come to expect from Wetherspoon I assume. Food was good, service friendly and all for a reasonable price. Not the healthiest, but then I don't think they claim to be. Had the pulled beef burger and it was excellent. The chips and onion rings were not great, but not horrible either. Chicken Tikka was good and filling.

Great pub. The pizza was lovely. Partners curry was good too. Nice atmosphere. Staff member who served me gave the impression she really didn't want to be there though.

Really good food. Friendly staff. Nice building. Parking not good although there is plenty nearby
