Local framer. Looks small from outside but it's few floors of different framed pictures! They also stock some unique vintage homeware pieces, so it's worth having a look even if one is not in need of framing anything. Last time I was there they stocked some nice African masks to hung on a wall or put on a bookshelf. They were reasonably priced.
Really pleased with the results and service! Would recommend!
Great place, really helpful owner/assistant who spent a long time with me making sure that I got the right colours on my frame. And the end result was brilliant and well made. Was a bit of a queue when i arrived but that was because everyone was receiving the great customer service that did, and even then I recieved an apology for the wait. Was worth the wait for the great out come.
Just had my painting from Marrakech framed and the quality of the job done is excellent along with the service and time taken to complete. Mark was very helpful and informative, the price he quoted was very good and fair; considering the sheer size of the painting, definitely will be using The Picture Palace again in the future. Oh! And some nice bits of art and furniture to look at also.
Really friendly people that work here. Very helpful staff, great service every time I've popped in to get art framed. Each time, the framing has been done to a high standard. My go-to framers now.
Mark has been framing additions to my collection for over 15 years. Always helpful,friendly and professional, and the store has a great range of frames and finishes to select from. There's also always a range of 20th century stylish furnishing items for sale too, plus original oils and antique prints.
I will no longer return, despite using them over the years and spending £100's. After agreeing to wait for at least half an hour. No acknowledgement came thereafter and after politely asking how much longer they think, I was treated with contempt and irritation. Even refused to serve me when the customer in front permitted I go ahead. Shockingly rude as I wasn't the big spender on the day. Glad not to return- so many others more local anyway.
Lovely service , beautiful framing and cleaning up of old frame, done in 24hours and with a smile! Thank you I will be back with more pictures.
Exemplary service and very knowledgeable people giving advice and ideas. The go to place for unusual quirky antiques and stylish french paintings.
I've been coming here for more than 20 years and the service has always been excellent: pleasant staff, interesting and eclectic stock and helpful and knowledgeable advice. I did try somewhere else once but they didn't have that je ne sais quoi - I scuttled back to Picture Palace and wouldn't go anywhere else now.
