Recently purchased 2 budgies with a full set up. Absolutely amazing advice from the shop assistants, and made sure that I had everything that I required for there care. Reasonably priced and will definitely be returning for all my feeds and extra accessories.
I placed an order on the 2nd January for some rabbit food. Online the website states that next day delivery is free when spending £30 or more which I did. Now I wasn't expecting my delivery to arrive as soon as that but I had been back and forth chasing petzone about my order right up until the 25th January when they decided to stop responding to emails and refund my order waiting for it to drop back into my account. I was told that my original shipment seemed to have been lost by the courier, no problem these things happen. They offered to resend the order and add an extra bag of food for the trouble which I thought was good of them to offer. Anyway days passed and no sign of that food either. I was informed it had definitely been shipped... it never turned up. Finally they responded to me saying that the food I had ordered wasn't currently in production which I understand but was made to believe this food had physically been shipped to me when it hadn't. They then offered to send a different brand of food at no extra cost to myself which again I thought was nice enough even though at this point I am desperate for food for my rabbits which I explained to them. No tracking link was ever provided to me. I contacted them and they didn't respond other than marking my order as "out for delivery" again a few days passed so at this point I outright asked them where the food was and what day it would come, which courier they had sent it via and for a tracking link. Rather than reply I got a notification to say my order had changed from "out for delivery" to "refunded". I am so upset with the way this has been handled. Weeks later and still without food for my rabbits that I desperately needed and I'm struggling to purchase anywhere else. They led me to believe they had definitely sent me the food multiple times and rather than tell me the truth they decided to outright ignore the issue altogether. I do not recommend this place for online orders at all.
Helpful friendly staff and had exactly what I needed in an emergency leaving me with one happy bird Still great service and a nice variety of toys and perches so now my parrot has a whole new play and rest set to explore and destroy lol. Thanks lads
This place is frequently shut down and fined for selling animals such as kittens illegally, and will sell rodents such as ferrets and rabbits without any advice or checking the buyers intentions. Animals are kept in bare minimum condition and enquiring about welfare to staff will warrant annoyed non-answers
Communication is poor at best and once I had told what rats I wanted I was informed they would be delivered shop being refurbished waited in but no delivery made and no message/call to say they wouldn't be coming Very poor in my opinion
Incredibly friendly staff! Lovely little shop with well kept pets for sale. Went in for bird paraphernalia. Would of liked a little bit more of budgie toy selection to choose from but everything I bought was reasonably priced. Will be back for my bird food when I next run out
This is the best shop that I came across, extremely clean, you can't smell any animal, the cages always spotless and I have worked in a pet shop before and. I know how difficult and hard work it is to keep a shop like that my 4 Guinea pigs from there and all my question s are always answered in a good and friendly way, I always advice this shop to everyone , thanks for everything you are the best
I really wish I could leave a good review, considering that I always support small businesses, having one myself. However, if you want to buy a squirrel , described as “ friendly” and you realize it’s not even close to friendly, and decide to do the best for the animal and get the breeder opinion and help, you’re actually stuck , because this breeder doesn’t seem to care as soon as you leave the shop. I was told I get a friendly female squirrel, but i got myself into having a wild male squirrel . I gave it 3 months to settle , been as understanding as I could be , however it’s not the way to go with petzone. I will probably have to take the animal to a wild animal centre and loose the money I’ve paid , because this animal doesn’t enjoy life being locked in a cage because he hates everything and everyone around.
