The pet vet at Balby looked after my German Shepherd when he cut his carpul pad and had to have it removed, they were very good at fitting us in at short notice and were so good with him, the premises are very modern and super clean they do everything on site, and the added bonus they are open 7 days a week, so no hefty charges for an out of hours weekend appointment, I highly recommend them.
Vet Linda was lovely, spent time with our Staffy Calvin who hadn't been well, the thankfully it would appear something hadn't agreed with him and he was given an anti sickness jab and told to have chicken and rice to eat in small meals until he improved, which he now appears to be his usual mischievous self.
We adopted a rescue dog and had to get the records from the Rescue centre's vet to ours, The Pet Vet, Balby. I had to ring the The Pet Vet a couple of times and was always met with a warm and friendly attitude. Today I was frustrated as the records had not been sent and was told to get the Vet Pet to ring the old vets. I rang and spoke to Helen on reception. Helen could not have been more helpful and reassuring and assured me that she would ring and see how it could be sorted. Helen rang me back 10 minutes later reporting success and that the records had now been received, I will now be visiting The Vet Pet with confidence and secure in the knowledge that I made the right choice of vets. Thank you all and in particular Helen you are an asset to the company.
Brought my dog in for his annual booster today, vet was fabulous, very thorough, even took time out to try & settle him as she could see he was fretting, 10/10, thankyou
I went here with a very good friend of mine to help with her pet. There is plenty of car parking spaces behind the practice, and a very short walk to the entrance, once inside the waiting room is very clean and very spacious, helps with keeping pets apart. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and knowledgeable might I say. I would recommend this vets without hesitation.
Excellent practice. Spotlessly clean.Very friendly receptionists and thank you to Ximo the vet,who was outstandingly compassionate ,and got our very nervous little rescue dog on the way to recovery. Many Thanks to all.
Took my dog on monday took blood samples then told on tuesday they wanted to do them again and an ultrasound total cost nearly 800 quid my wife asked if they do a payment plan to be told no they dont so there quite happy to leave the dog in pain and not well instead of trying to help people do the right thing by there pets absolutely disgusting
I’ve been going to the Pet Vet for years now and they always take such good care of my pets. With the Pet Plan it makes everything so much easier and gives you a discount on most treatments too
I have a one year old female Jack Russell called Jess, she has had a very tough time in her first year, she shas suffered with pneumonia at the age of 6 months, then a month later had a bacterial throat infection, 3 days after she was spayed she was a bit excitable and got a hernia so had to be operated on again, lastly, just recently she has had a stomach upset where she had to have bloods taken, xrays and ultrasound. The Pet vet has been there for us throughout, given excellent service and called to update us when Jess has had to stay at the vets. They have also sorted the insurance out for us, I cannot praise them enough for their care.
Highly recommend! They are a very kind and caring team who saw my old dog Susie at the weekend. Thank you
