Best pet shop I have visited in my life. They don't just give you the pet and that's it. They make sure you are looking after the pet. Constantly in touch to ask if any support is needed. Can never do enough. I have visited a few times even though I live in Stratford I will definitely be visiting regularly. Highly recommended.

We bought a pair of finches here and wanted two males. When we went to our local pet shop when viewing a video we were told that we have a male and female. It's okay though as they seem quite closely bonded together! The assistant did some research on her phone and only went by the colour of their beaks rather than other features.  The finches cage had no seed, water, vegetables and toys. I felt sorry for them all really. The whole cage looked like it needed a good clean too!  I could smell some dampness in the air while we were there.  When I looked at the cockatiel cage, the lutino cockateil bottom feathers were covered in poo. I felt sorry for it as he/she could have done with a spray to wash the poo off!  Another thing was that they charge £25 each for the finches whereas the pet shop in Lady Well only charges around £30 for a pair! A lot of difference!  I wish we could have bought all the finches in the cage due to their environment.  Our finches seem much happier as the male finch sings quite a lot now compared to our first visit to the shop.  I wouldn't recommend visiting this shop as it is quite expensive and feel that they do not look after the animals here because goodness knows how long the poor little finches went without food!  As soon as we arrived home once our finches were settled they started eating straight away! And looked like they were starving hungry! I feel as though we rescued this poor babies rather than actually buying them!  Another thing was that I thought the assistant was going to give us a sheet of a paper with information about the finches as this is what they do in the pet shop in Lady well. Instead was only given a receipt and only told when asked about their age.  The assistant was friendly but I just think she could have made herself useful in providing fresh food and water.

Friendly , helpful staff. Able to get all the bits we needed for our large goldfish. Prices very reasonable.

Purchased a so called Hand Tamed Cockatiel, - was nowhere near tame, asked do they wing clip, and looked a bit vacant to be honest. Should of thought about it when they actually had to catch him in a net...

Deffo a 5 star rating, been visiting this pet shops for 3/4 years now, got fishes, bearded dragons and budgies from Paul, amazing shop, deffo good with advice and always here to help. Never a day where Paul turns you down. Also good with holiday pets Paul has had my dragon quite a few times when I go away. And always with updated photos and videos of them. Definitely a good pet shop to go to. And deffo will recommend to friends if they want pets or advice.

Thankyou for finally allowing me to buy Rio...... as you know i have been waiting patiently for a very long time  ..... and my wait has finally paid off..... THANKYOU paul and dont worry i will bring him back to see you in a few weeks time, Rio will never be a stranger..... now its time for his new mummy to love him unconditionally...and btw best pet shop around, staff are amazing, i love it here

Ken and Paul are the nicest and most helpful people. They have cared for our two bearded dragons impeccably when we’ve been on holiday and have left them for over a week at a time, given expert advice and you can see the love they have for the animals in their care. The only place I will buy food for our beardies from, insects are always good quality and well priced. Been going weekly for the past two years and still do even though we no longer live locally.
