If I could give this store more stars I would! I have been going to this store for a couple of years now and wouldn't buy my fish anywhere else now.  We went in Tuesday 25th October 22 as I wanted to get one or two fish for my tank. The staff know their stuff, I have always been impressed with the store and staff, it's by far the cleanest aquarium and has the most variety we have ever seen. Sometimes we just pop in so the kids can look at the beautiful fish. The young man who took care of me was amazing, sorry I didn't take his name, he was cleaning the Beta's but was more than happy to help someone as indecisive as me. I told him what I wanted, what I had and he gave me advice and made sure I didn't get anything that would upset my tank. We settled with two Kissing Gourami, I fell in love with them instantly. We also took home the white frog, who has been called White Ninja frog by the children.  This is the only place to go for all fish needs, the tanks are always clean, there are never any dead or unwell looking fish and the staff have a real dedication that's hard to find.  My fish have settled in well, they are a little shy and yes, that is my cat laying on top on the tank, she loves the fish as much as we do.  Thank you everyone for always making our visits awesome

Absolutely fascinated! What a selection of marine inhabitants. Went there for one tiny thing and spent forever gazing at its jaw dropping diversity. I felt like a child in a zoo. No unsolicited advice from staff.  The guys are very professional, busy and didn’t mind me standing there staring at fish, sea stars, turtles etc. I felt like leaving all money there, because of good goods quality. Going to return soon with my son.

One of the very best aquarium shops in the UK great to have bags topped with oxygen and routinely double bagged.  Super clean shop and healthy stock.  Limited interest to CO2 using planted tank enthusiasts but brilliant for fish.

Amazing spot for your reefing needs. Largest stocks around. Shopping regularly and always want to come back. Thanks guys, keep up good work

I had bought a bristlenose pleco, unfortunately as it grew it became aggressive with my fancy goldfish,the manager took him back with no problems. I've always bought my fish from this shop,I would highly recommend them.

Extremely knowledgeable and super friendly staff. Definitely the cleanest aquarium on the area, I have been to most of them to gauge prices and general fish stock. Fish stock at Birchwood is also the best for both freshwater and saltwater hobbyists. There is a small parking lot outside suitable for about 10-15 Cars I assume. On weekends it is definitely busier so be ready to wait for some help, but it is well worth it. Highly recommended, don't waste your time anywhere else. Have a visit and see for yourself.

Amazing selection of stock all looking very healthy and in great condition.  Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgable.  Probably the best aquatics store in Kent

Excellent place to buy. Everything is pristine, unlike many similar shops. Friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff. All tanks are clean and healthy. Great choice of livestock and equiptment. Marines section is excellent. I cant recommemd this place highly enough.

Very helpful and informative staff.  Took the time to understand and answer all my questions.  Lovely selection of marine fish, corals and inverts.

This is by far the best aquarium around , and has the most knowledgeable and exceptionally friendly staff , I know this first hand as I used to work here over 10years ago and the owner himself is a beautiful person TBH with you everyone who works there is a good person and knows there stuff truly just wanted to add this as you will not find another aquarium around in 100’s of miles even come close to this shop , just wanted to wish everyone the best.
