Well all I can say is I'm glad I didn't take notice of some of the few negative reviews that people have put on about this store! Lovely shop, superb range, great prices and most importantly excellent customer service. I do not live that local to Shirley but will certainly make the special journey from now on for all my pet supplies.
I went today to buy something for my puppy and staff was helpful but I ve overhead one of them being really upset about a foreign customer who couldn't speak English and she was also making fun of her with another customer after she left. As a foreign myself even if I can speak English took me a few years and courses to get here I find it really disrespectful and I will never buy anything from the store again just because of that rasism attitude! Later reply: I can't answer to your comment just to edit here. About your response: you're absolutely lying. I know what I have heard and she was absolutely upset and making fun about how she was trying to speak English but she couldn't. Stop lying and learn your staff to leave their mean comments for when they go home! You should have apologised not say all these lies! Listen to that audio again and stop lying!
The pet shop is lovely. Pleasant staff. I take my daisy to Sam the groomer. She does a wonderful job. Daisy always looks gorgeous when she's been. I always get comments on daisy and how lovely she looks. Wouldn't take her anywhere else.

Very heart broken after i purchased two lovebirds and one of them died because of illness they should have atleast told me what to use to prevent illness they just wanted to sell their animals and make money not freindly very rude and not helpful especially the ladies there are very disrespectful dont buy anything from them they are unprofessional
Good quality products which cost slightly more than the bigger store in the retail park but worth the money. Shop staff never seem happy
Great quality of fish very small pet shop and has all need of all pets. But they don't have large variety of fish but they good variety of birds and turtle

Great supplies, great service. Adopted 2 budgerigars Daughter lovely pets. Could have brought home many more. Also offer boarding for more unusual pets than cats and dogs....would recommend!
Excellent shop, well mannered and knowledgeable staff. Decent range of pet supplies at very competitive prices. Also stock of small rodents, rabbits, birds and a few reptiles although didn't explore the entire shop. Will definitely return. My Syrian is loving his new home
