This is one of those rare quality pubs. Everything is perfect. Immaculate, frienly, professional, classic and, of course, wonderful beers. The owners don't skimp on pipe cleaning etc. Do yourself a favour and call in.

Attended a funeral get together. Staff were lovely, super, large private function/dining room. Good beer (they have Mild!) Excellent pie and peas. Will certainly visit again and eat.

Lovely atmosphere,  good selection of real ales and dog friendly. Staff are welcoming and helpful.  Pub is very clean and beautifully decorated.
