I only popped in for directions but the staff and a local having a pint were very pleasant, seems like a traditional home from home pub, down to earth drinkers pub, no problem with that, better than all these foodie pubs, selling very expensive highly inflated drinks and beers
All good just had a quick pint , first time in after work , will be going in more often
Great place far a good pint
Gone down hill , only one decent bar staff other pulls her face, get barred when you done nothing, always fighting in that place, stick to the floor , wipe your feet on the way out ,
Classic pub. Quite small. Bit informal which Ilike. Locals didnt seem to mix with other locals, and saw some lonely people on their own. We didnt see any board games or a bookshelf, there didnt seemed to be anything to do.We didnt see any kids which was great, but apparently this pub accepts kids. It didnt seem to be a kidie place though. Would give it more stars if kids were banned.
Amazing atmosphere. Landlady Jan is a great host and always makes you feel welcome. Bar staff are friendly and inviting, and very fast service.
Best establishment for miles, kids welcome all day long had a lovely meal would defo recommend. The live entertainment was out of this world. Terry tibbs is phenomenal
It's really not the sort of place I should like but everyone is so down to earth and nice it's great. Best karaoke in area as well
