My lady ordered and picked up a Chinese takeaway for us and, everything!!! I mean everything!! was Old!! Dry!! Tasteless!! We could taste the oil used to cook it, more than the food itself!! The prawns.. the prawns were at least a month old!! They were harder than stones!! I have pictures!! It is disgusting!! This place is inhumane and should be closed for good!! If not then it needs a new management!! People could hurt their mouth with trying to chew such hard prawn. Prawns are supposed to be very easy in the mouth and soft. I don't know who's worst, the chef for cooking such an outrageous food or the manager for allowing such food to be cooked and sent out to paying customers. Disgrace of mankind! Not even pigs should eat this!

Never ever buying from here again. Food was not fresh, sweet and sour prawns was no edible at all. I had to stop eating because I was scared I'll get ill. I picked it up on my way home and unfortunately I live too far to take it back and chuck it in their face. Don't understand how the chef can actually look at the food and sell it. DISGUSTING 🤢 Wish I could upload pictures.

I usually order from elsewhere but as they wasn't open I ordered from The Pearl and I must say I will always order from them now! First off it's great that they do debit card payments and I don't have to pop out to a cash machine like other Chinese takeaways. Delivery took half an hour and food was piping hot and tastes amazing. I loved how I got prawn crackers and fortune cookies where other places are only one or the other. Good customer service and friendly drivers. The Pearl will be my regular from now!

My food arrived cold... arrived 2 hrs after ordering.. our take away come to £25 and was charged £52.. was told it was a HUMAN ERROR an thats it. This was friday and still awaiting refund to go bk on my card. As im a sgle mom and it cleared my account out !!!!

Had a number of take always from the pearl and they were really good. Unfortunately that last take away we had (sweet and sour chicken) was atrocious. Very disappointed.
