We came for breakfast & overall quite a good experience. The full English breakfast was fairly good, generous portion & relatively good value. It was rather spacious inside, neat & clean. However, it was rather understaffed on the day & hence service was a bit slow.
Great pub to visit for a drink in the city with absolutely amazing customer service. Came in here for a quick drink in the afternoon, was very quiet but the staff were very attentive and helpful. Far better service you would receive nearby in the city at some places. Drinks were made fast and to high calibar, cannot complain. Bathrooms were great too. Definitely come done for a visit, food looked good too. If you liked my review feel free to give it a and follow me on Google Maps for more reviews
We enjoyed the atmosphere, the service was good and the food was very tasty.
Decent pub near St Paul's and close to the tube station. It has the look and feel if a traditional pub but in a relatively new building. The drink selection is extensive an offers a decent menu. I had a fist finger sandwich £11, which was OK, it had a very small amount of fish versus batter and was quite dry. The service was excellent though, every one if the team I interacted with were super friendly and really made the visit.
A GREAT TIME! Went with some friends for lunch, the food was exquisite and they had a very good wine collection, which we really appreciated. The staff members were all very attentive and kind, and our waitress, Emilia, made our evening even better. Definitely coming back as soon as I’m back in town!
We came for dinner after the Advent service at St Paul’s. Lovely walk from the church and a great spot to take a photo of the dome. Friendly welcome from helpful barman. Ate sausages as fisherman’s pie not available. Served with tasty crackling but no veg. Young’s beer & others on tap. Football was playing on screens but plenty of quieter seating for chatting.
Came across this pub few days back, went in for a quick drink. The atmosphere was good, inside the is bit spacious. The service was lovely too! A guy named Anik had served me my drinks and he was doing a great job. 5/5 I would definitely recommend this pub.
So happy we found this place on a bank holiday where 80% off the pubs were closed! What a welcomed pint is beer and great fish and chips to have as a afternoon meal! The beer selection is exceptional and the food was well prepared! Will definitely be returning!
Emilia is this amazing girl that is always there to help. She gave us a nice service and always with a positive attitude. We are regular customers in this place and we always enjoy the stay here. Well done Emilia and the team, always a pleasure to come back
Great pub. Was on a Saturday with my family that came over for holidays from overseas. They weee very happy with location, near the cathedral. The food was great, loved the skin on fries, could not stop eating those staff was super friendly with a great smile and a prompt and speedy service. Could not fault it, we had a great time. Well worth the visit. Ps: the suggestion for beer was spot on. Will visit this place when back in town. Thanks.
