A unique venue which is an exact mix of a greasy spoon cafe and a craft beer bar. The mixture sounds odd but it does work as neither aspect is too overbearing, that could lead you to think that The Patch is struggling to find identity, but far from it, I'd say it sits perfectly within the community providing warmth and hospitality at all times of day to all types people. This place has a warm heart and good produce to back it up. Highly recommended.

Cozy place with friendly staff and nice background music. I love spending time here with my laptop while eating handmade cakes and sandwiches. However, as a Spaniard, I ought to mention the amazing pintxos they have at weekends, including the Spanish tortilla in some of them, and hopefully with the time there will be more 'typical Spanish' in here! On the other hand, the English breakfast is economical, tasty and available till 3pm! I highly recommend visiting the Patch!

Fantastic chilled out beer bar right in the centre of Lewes. 6 keg beers, 1 lager, 1 cider, a few bottles and a selection of Pintxos (Spanish snacks). By day, a sandwich bar (beery breakfasts from 9), by night a chilled out beer bar. Just Wonderful!

Beautiful little café the staff were friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, I ordered the mushroom with goats cheese, the portion size was good food was prepared to a high quality and the price was reasonable. The balance is almost perfect. no concerns with cleanliness, the music was subtle and appropriate for the morning, nothing worse than breakfast with garish pop in the background and coffee was okay, if possible would love to have a good barista coffee (it wasn't terrible but there is some room for improvement) overall I was very pleased to have breakfast here and would defiantly be coming back soon. Keep up the great work.

I enjoyed a really tasty lunch here today... my bacon, egg, sausage, tomato, beans and mushrooms was complemented by a freshly made salsa. Very good value and produce is quality. Nice twist too offering wines and craft beers.
