This place was terrible... went to a wedding reception there last week where there were 190 guests.. they had 3 inexperienced staff behind the bar so there was a massive queue all night... at the start of the night the guests were kept waiting outside the marquee in the pouring rain and galeforce winds for around 15 minutes despite us being told it was ready and to head over... the marquee was absolutely beautiful but unfortunately freezing! so much that I had to keep my jacket on the whole night.. every time someone opened the door it would stay open so I spent the whole night having to close it... the downside of sitting near the door I guess but you'd think they would have considered this and put a heater above the door or at least had a proper closer on the door... the food was cold despite us being first up at the buffet..... I really feel for the couple whom I'm sure would have paid a lot of money for this venue as it is stunning but unfortunately left in the hands of a very young and inexperienced team! I really didn't want to write this review in fear of offending the couple but they have been made aware of it by others so feel that the management should be aware of how the place is run in their absence... improvements really should be made to avoid disappointment for more couples on their special day

We were at a great wedding of a friend at this beautiful venue recently. There were a few things The Parsonage needs to look at to improve service, the marquee was really chilly and we would have hated to be seated near the door. We were continually charged different prices from the bar for the same drinks each and every time. The bar staff were highly inexperienced and the bar manager was very abrupt and rude to a number guests who were complaining. In a venue such as this, the bar manager should be going over and above to keep the day special, certainly not speaking to guests the way he was. Excellent customer service is the lifeblood of any business and it was sadly lacking that evening. If it were not for the rude bar manager, who admitted it was his first night, there would have been twice as many stars.

Was at friends wedding reception on February 10th 2018... 1st time at this stunning venue beautiful for weddings ...But the down side of it was very cold and uncomfortable that made me leave earlier, also the table service was a nightmare took 45 for drinks to arrive and the price was different on every order with same drinks order. Shame that this lets this beautiful venue down.

Attended a wedding reception last night, first visit here what a lovely venue, beautifully decorated and very efficient staff keeping the place looking very tidy, we were very well looked after by Sam, not sure what his official title was but what a find he is, nothing was any trouble to him at all as soon as we asked anything it was done and he smiled all night first visit, hopefully not my last. Thank you.

Was at my sister in laws wedding on 10th of February was very disorganised and very cold. The venue is beautiful but I spent an hour waiting at bar for first drink then most of the night we were getting our vodka and mixer in a pint tumbler which you wouldn't expect at all. Most of the people there had to keep there coats on as it was so cold. You would have thought they had no experience in dealing with functions, its terrible that gail and Derek's happy day had to have so many faults for there guests I would not recommend anyone to have there wedding here
