We were taken there as a treat. It's not my usual kind of place. Granted, it's a hidden gem of a restaurant. If you like that sort of thing. To me, there was a hint of pretentiousness that put me off.
They had sold out of my first choice main course... At lunchtime...
The 'large' glass of wine was large... There just wasn't much wine in it.
The food was tasty enough, with desserts to die for. But I shan't be returning for to personal preference.
