Four of us came for Sunday lunch, it was very good. Plenty of choice on the menu, non meat eaters, catered for. Our food was nicely presented, well cooked and hot. Good portion sizes, I was defeated by the Apple crumble. Service was good and attentive. Good selection of drinks. Would definitely return.

Visited this pub/restaurant while staying in the area.  Having never visited Burnham before I checked reviews before deciding where to have lunch.nnThe decor of The Oyster Smack is warm and inviting and very clean.  The staff were engaging and attentive but not overly so.nnI was very excited with the extensive menu, so much so it took me a while to decide what to order.  In the end I choose two grilled oysters with the ginger, chilli & lime dressing. Both oysters were of good size and succulent.  The dressing was well balanced.nnFor my main meal, I choose the duck rice bowl.  This was delicious with plenty of duck. The hoi sin sauce was just enough so as not to over power the duck but enough to mix through the rice.nnOverall I was very happy with my lunch venue and meal choices.nnWould definitely return if I was to revisit the area.

Absolutely impeccable service and communication with the team! We have booked The Oyster Smack Inn pre wedding at a nearby venue and the team have been so helpful, accommodating and friendly.nnThe pub is incredibly beautiful with a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay, eat or even just enjoy a drink together. Prices are so reasonable.nnThank you so much for all you have done. Sophie is an absolute asset and we will be returning, recommending and making sure you get the recognition the team deserves.

Delicious food, great size portions. The pheasant was really nice. Restaurant has a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The service was good, but a little more assistance around what certain dishes came with would have been appreciated.nThey do a side of crackling pictured which was very nice, and a honeycomb dessert pictured

Stayed at the Oyster Smack while visiting local relatives, during our stay we had a Family Christmas dinner as treat.nnThe food was excellent, fresh and beautifully cooked. Portions were generous and everything felt thoughtfully prepared.nnService was friendly, attentive, and unhurried, even during what was clearly a busy time of year. The staff made us feel welcome from start to finish.
