This place is nice to hangout both in the morning post a walk over the beach and then come here and grab a cup of fresh coffee and also in the evening with a pint of beer with friends and family .. It has a beautiful surrounding.. all chairs placed outside .. summers are like wonderful in the place... The staff too are really good and polite to help the clients ... Never miss cakes and cookies . #OrphanGirl #Gorey ##Wexford #Ballymoney #RoadSide #Ireland #Eir #Coffee #Beer
5 of us ate here for the first time in years. Food was fine but we waited an age for one child's meal which upset the whole experience as we had already finished our meals before his arrived & the other children had finished & were outside playing. Not a recipe for keeping families happy! That & the very unfriendly manager who reprimanded me as an adult for letting my kids play pool on his newly covered pool table. Needs to clearly let kids know that pool table is only for adults if thats the case. A sign above it clearly asking would help rather than telling adults that hadnt a clue or a care about how much he paid to re-cover a pool table that we hadnt yet used! We were customers though, and we had just spent €130 for the privilege of getting spoken to like kids whose kids were then too scared to actually play the game we were allowed play! First & last visit of 2022.
This was the most welcoming and fun pub, we were there for my birthday ! The laois ladies loved it. We had a ball! Pay a visit you won't be sorry.
Food was lovely, children's lounge would really benefit from a make over because there aren't any windows and it's very dark inside.
Fantastic pint, brilliant steak. Well worth a visit.
No food during the week in winter. Very disappointing as we were looking forward to an evening meal after reading reviews
Stayed at Seafield recently with a group of friends. Ended up last minute going to the Orphan Girl for dinner. Good atmosphere, food was fantastic and staff were brilliant. Had the fillet steak medium/rear and it was delicious. A lot of my group had chicken or beef stir fry and that was very tasty.
Was not satisfied with the service, the staff gave out menus but would not come and take anyones orders, I could see numerous other customers waiting for their orders to be taken myself included, the staff would look at you and if you waved them to come over they would ignore you, we eventually went up to the bar to ask if we could order our food but they said they would send someone down to us and that we couldn’t order food at the bar which wasn’t a problem with us we just wanted our order taken, after waiting for awhile nobody came to take our order so we decided to leave, Overall I won’t be recommending this place to anyone
Steak sandwich was amazing, pint lovely too
Fantastic atmosphere, great crowd of people and excellent karaoke!
