Visited today, Sunday 21st September. A very warm welcome from the staff. Food was absolutely beautiful. Fast service and steaming hot dinner. Jam and strawberry spongecake was divine. Most certainly be back.nFrank, Olivia and Fiadh age nearly 4
I'd like to express my sincere gratitude to the exceptional staff of Adair Arms who provided my family and I with the most excellent of customer service, this evening. A special thanks to Emma. We look forward to staying with you during our next trip, to this most beautiful place. This was a very special trip to the North for us, we thank you for ensuring we left with only the most wonderful of memories.
Exceptional Service from Lynsey – A True Asset to the Team!nnI recently dined here and had the absolute pleasure of being served by Lynsey. From the moment we were seated, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. What really stood out was her deep knowledge of the menu—she was able to guide me through food tolerances with ease and made sure every recommendation suited my dietary needs.nnLynsey also offered fantastic drink pairings that perfectly complemented each dish I ordered, which made the experience all the more special. Her attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and genuine care made the entire evening memorable.nnIf you’re planning to visit, I highly recommend asking for Lynsey. She truly elevated our dining experience—an absolute star!
Food very poor. Overpriced for low quality. Stale croissants both mornings!nSandwiches, light bites were good.nAccommodation price was high.nnStaff were great. Hotel is clean and comfortable and warm. Good location.nnGood quality tea/ coffee/biscuits in room.
My husband and I stayed here the night before climbing Trostan. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We were very glad of the blinds as the sun was shining right into the room and it was a bit to early to be closing the curtains! The breakfast the next morning was well organised and there was plenty choice, I even got a vegetarian sausage which was a nice addition to my breakfast. The staff were all so friendly. I would recommend and would stay again. The only small thing is that the car park isn't massive and there was an event going on when we arrived and we took what appeared to be the last spot on the car park but maybe we were also the last to need one.
