Lovely foot scrub as part of the pedicure but had to have my nails done twice after the varnish rubbed off the first time. Choice of colours was poor and the nails were not coated properly to the cuticles when I checked after getting home. I was just eager to get out of there as I was kept past closing time. Sorry but won't be going back, nor recommending

I have managed to get two walk in eyebrow appointments in the last few months - always kind, friendly, professional, with good quality waxing and threading. They are continuing to take COVID protocols seriously which is reassuring as a business working in close contact with clients. Would absolutely recommend!
After being messed around by multiple other places several well known high street names included I found this place online and booked my 4 month old daughter in to get her ears pierced. Very professional throughout the booking process and the piercing itself. I'm a happy dad
I've been going to the Orchid Retreat for many years now and have tried various different treatments. To set expectations, it's not Champneys. This is a high street day spa offering convenience over splendour. That said, the Orchid Retreat is clean, relaxing and everything you need from a local day spa. Hellen and her team are lovely and work so hard to meet everyone's needs. Some of my favourite treatments include the hot stone massage, ultimate vitamin glow facial with high frequency treatment and the pedicure. The team are skilled beauticians and Hellen creates some real works of art with eye lash extensions, SNS nail system, and make up sessions to name but a few. But it's not just the variety of treatments and products that makes me return year after year; when I visit the Orchid Retreat I feel part of a family and to create that feeling within a busy high street spa deserves more than 5 stars. What a jewel in the community!
My friend bought me in for a belly piercing but they pierced it too shallow. The piercer is not professional. Avoid unless you want a botched navel piercing.
I go for pedicures here regularly so I am familiar with the process and amount of time it takes. Although the person doing my pedicure this time was polite and what she did was fine,she did not do the usual process and missed out steps. It should have taken one hour. She was finished in under half an hour. It was only when I got home and reflected that it dawned on me that that I had paid full price for half the job.
I had my eyebrows micro bladed here and I’ve been so pleased. Maria was excellent and told me the process every step of the way and took excellent care of me. Well worth every penny. Thank you Maria x
I always emerge floating on a cloud after having had a massage here. Very relaxing place, rooms are warm with a lovely, calming ambience and the staff are incredible.
