Wandering about early on a Saturday morning looking for coffee when I saw a queue. Everyone was leaving with large paper bags. Always a good sign at 8.30 in the morning. I only ordered coffee and a croissant. The croissant was HUGE and so were the other breakfast pastries. It seems the chef used to work in Harrods, fortunately the prices don't reflect that. If you're going to Cardiff Bay Pool? The White Water Centre or ice skating; this is worth a visit.
Beware - this place will kick start an expensive addiction! Their freshly made pastries are utterly delicious. Rich, filling and generously portioned. Prices are relatively expensive, but reflect the quality ingredients and love that goes into making the bakery items. Timing is everything here. The best selection is available first thing in the morning. From lunchtime onwards, you're down to a more limited selection of what remains. Even so, I've yet to buy something I'm disappointed with. If you fancy trying something specific such as the highly recommended croissant bombs, head there early.
Terrific bakery. Great service from your lovely Italian colleague. Top notch coffee and we loved your bacon and maple Danish pastry. Lovely spot to sit overlooking the marina. Now enjoying your cheese and Marmite bread at home! Highly recommended.
Not cheap but for a very good reason… it’s amazing quality! Got a loaf, cookie, croissant and meringue and all tasted GORGEOUS! Already planning my next visit.
A great looking little shop on the River, seating out the front. Sadly the cinnamon bun I bought was fairly obviously from the day before. Tough as old boots, chewy. A shame, their cakes look great, but if it's old, it shouldn't be sold.

Really beautiful coffee, croissant and meringue, all tasted fantastic and worth the price. A little disappointed with the sausage roll, which I expected it to be quality sausage meat. Instead it was the colour and texture of saveloy, which isn't really to my taste.
The best bakery I've ever been to. Several great types of sourdough, amazing pastries seasonal Danish is always a winner, custard tart to die for. Coffee tastes better than the place next door too!
