Really friendly service, always local Portugese here, which is always a good sign. The food, esp the cakes & bread are superb. Very reasonable prices make this a lovely cafe to visit.

It's very average here and lacks soul. Fine for a place for sustenance or a coffee with company. They had a bizarre disposable cups and self fill jug for water even when you're eating in. The toilet looked like it had been as unclean as I found it for a while. A real urban pissoir.

Absolutely lovely little Portuguese bakery hidden in one of the busiest streets outside of the city centre. The worst part is probably that you can't try everything at once! It's usually busy, but there's always a friendly atmosphere about the place, and its surprisingly inexpensive for the quality and quantity you get. Well worth a visit if you're nearby, but unlikely there'll be space to sit if that's what you're hoping for. Must try: Cheese and Spinach pasties and a few of the tasty Portuguese tarts!
