I purchased online from this shop a few days ago. Their email response is excellent. A wonderful selection of sweets available. Delivery was very fast. I'll definitely be ordering again.
We received a mixed bag of bon bons from a family member, and they were so delicious and the right amount of chewy!nWe have the Toffee, Lemon, Strawberry, and Raspberry mix, and they all are so yummy!! They are displayed beautifully in the bag, the picture is after we were tasting the different flavours.nnI asked a question, and they responded almost immediately.nWe are definitely ordering more online.nWill update better when we receive our goodies.
We had a AirB&B for the Easter weekend break in Blazefield Bank. The weather was quite good, good enough for us to walk across country to Pateley Bridge very hilly, not for the faint heartednWe called in the The Old Sweet shop as it looked too good to miss. Filled with beautiful sweets, the smell took be back to being a kid again. The shop is quite small so can be a bit of a squeeze as it’s extremely popular. The shop is located down a very narrow & busy road, can get congested at times, especially if there are trucks going through there. I recommend finding a nearby carpark & then walking back down. The footpaths on either side are also vey narrow, just wide enough for a buggy/wheelchair, most of the shops are wheelchair accessible as far as I can recall.nDefinitely recommend calling in if you’re nearby.
Visited the shop whilst in the area the fudge was lovely. Selection of individual chocolates some lovely flavours I especially liked the lemon truffle. Lots of selection in the shop along with some old fashioned juices.
Lovely quaint old style sweet shop. It’s small but has a nice selection of sweets. Some seemed quite unique. Steeped in history in a lovely old market town.
