Cracking pub with loads off History and character on Long Street Middleton . Food is excellent and very popular and staff very good and friendly
Lovely place with nice food. Good selection on the menu at very reasonable prices. Some wonderful home made dishes .nCar parking with plenty of spaces and free once you place your details into the touch pad inside on the bar .
Forgot our food order and then gave poor eta which didn't help. Some of our food was excellent a d some was very average. Beautiful building drew us in not being local but sadly it wasn't the best. The young lady who helped had good intentions but her colleagues in the kitchen let her down.
Lovely old pub with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Food was homely, freshly prepared and very tasty with very large portions. I am already planning my next visit to introduce it to another set of friends.
Nice place to eat and drink. JW Lee's pub with a real ale offering. Only 1 real ale was available when I visited although it was January and it looks like they had their winter ale on over Christmas from the posters about. It was a little chilly when we arrived as the heating had only just been put on but it soon warmed up and in fairness we were first through the door on opening! The traditional fireplaces are in fact gas and not wood or coal which is a shame but they make a nice focal point in each room.nThe food menu is traditional pub food, served quickly and was very tasty and reasonably priced. Worth taking your mother out for lunch!
