Came here on a whim during a walk around Manchester. Had a quick bite to eat and a burger.nStaff were very knowledgeable especially on allergens.nFood came out quickly and was tasty. Unsure if I would upgrade my fries again but otherwise really nice.nnGood selection of beers on tap also. We hit it at happy hour by pure chance which made it all the better.nnWe would of course go back for lunch but the night life maybe abit too lively for me
Had a really good night here! Sunday roast is a must 10/10, entertainment on was great. Want to give a big shout out to our waiter Toby who went above and beyond really looked after us and made the whole experience even better, thank you!
A large modern updated pub off Deansgate. Plenty of seating, including a large section for eating as you first walk in. Ornate plaster ceilings in places that look like it was once a bank or other important building. There's a small stage to one side where a band was just setting up so I can imagine it getting busy but with a good atmosphere once they've started. The staff seemed more professional than the other places I'd visited that day, dressed in smart uniforms and aprons. There was also a large selection of drinks available including cocktails.
To be honest, wasn't expecting much from this place, probably just a place for young 'uns to party. Got that wrong.nnWell impressed. Great decor, fantastic staff who were attentive and helpful and some really wonderful food. Good size portions so left well stuffed. Nice selection of tap beers also.nnOnly negative was the pasta was ever so slightly overcooked in the Funghi Spatzle, but otherwise everything was perfect. Top spot goes to the Apple Strudel.nnExcellent, will return someday.
I’m very familiar with the Albert’s in Birmingham so thought I’d pop in the Manchester one. Went in on bank holiday Sunday and it was one of the busiest places in Manchester. Of course we were bar hopping so I can easily say, one of the best bars around that area. Customer service was decent, not as good as liverpool or Birmingham, but decent. Great atmosphere, great service and a great vibe! Popped in the following morning for breakfast 1st time it was pretty decent, I wouldn’t go back for breakfast as it didn’t really wow me or my partner. Good selection of drinks, reasonably priced. Decent Bloody Mary, just wasn’t cold enough for me and I should’ve asked for ice. No complaints, would defo go back for drinks!
