Nothing wrong with the guy in the kitchen, be nice. This was my mums favourite place and we come here regularly. Fantastic food, great service, lovely pub and really nice staff. Keep it up, thank you very much.
Great service, delicious food. We ordered the award winning pale ale and beef pie it's definitely a must if you drop by. Also the beer battered fish and chips was really really good, probably the best fish and chips I've tasted.
Pleasant and helpful staff. Nice outdoor seating. Clean environment. Standard gastropub menu. Very convenient to East Finchley tube station.

Excellent food and service… the geezer in the kitchen, however, needs to learn to stay off the pipe and shut up. His running commentary on every single thing is like nails on a chalkboard or the hoot of manky bagpipe. A period of silence on his part would be most welcome. Otherwise, 10/10.
The food is here is way above par for a pub! Really nice vibes and friendly staff. The only thing is that it was kind of difficult to get hold of the staff when my group wanted to order, 2/3 times we had to get up and find someone. Other than that though, a really lovely place!
