Sometimes places that are in a great seaside location would put their prices up and the quality and portion sizes of their food might not need to be good because they have location. Not this place. Great food at reasonable prices. Lovely sized portion for avo on toast with two poached eggs. All for £10.
The service was friendly and helpful with a good knowledge of allergens. The food itself was great! My son and I loved our pizzas, side and dessert. Will definitely keep this on the list for any future trips to West Bay! Kid-friendliness: The venue caters well with facilities and a menu for all ages. Dietary restrictions: The staff are able to quickly address any dietary requirements and allergen queries.
Food was amazing! A bit pricy but you get what you pay for. Me and my partner had fish and chips which was amazing! Covid restrictions were good and I felt safe. I don't own a dog but it was nice to see it was a dog friendly place. Warm and toasty on a cold rainy winters day.
We dropped in for dinner - 3 adults, 2 kids. Good choice of pizzas and drinks, plus a few mains with fresh fish. All was tasty and well-priced considering the location right on the beach. The only slight complaint was not being able to order a starter of garlic bread but we had it with our mains. Definitely recommended if you're in the area
Lovely setting right on beach wife had prawn linguine I had deep fried baby squid linguine was very nice bit disappointed with the squid looked good but was mainly batter .Other food looked good perhaps just chose the wrong dish.
This cafe has changed since I had visited last probably about twenty years. It has a great feel to the place very friendly staff but as lovely as the breakfast was there were no beans or toast nore was there any chance of buying any to add to it. They don't do them. This meant I couldn't give it five stars I will go to cherries again next time. If you don't like beans it's perfect
Lovely location but sadly food was shocking. Probably the worst crab sandwich ever. I would assume it had been made earlier in the morning by which time the thick sliced bread was stale plus it was almost impossible to detect any white crab meat in it. My friends mostly had fish and chips and again it certainly looked as though everything had been pre cooked and was then thrown into a deep fryer for a quick heat up. So disappointing when this should really showcase Dorset food.
Stopped for lunch, right on the beach. Good food and service. Reasonably priced.Food: 5/5
Excellent fish tacos! Pizza also very good and loved the beer! What is great about the place you didn’t need any reservations on a eat out to help day! Just a ten minute queue and it was right at the beach.
Stopped here last Sunday and after getting assurance from a member of staff that the crab sandwiches were fresh we ordered 2 along with a glass of red wine and a cider. Worst crab sandwiches we had ever tasted infact I would say by the colour of the filling it may of ever had crab paste in it ! £38.50 for the pleasure.
