Story

Pay attention at the back, settle down and keep your eyes on your own work. The former Woodside School is no longer the responsibility of the School Board of Glasgow, but as the former Old School House, it has kept a touch of the same flavour. A sign tells you that "Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character", there are big sinks and old-fashioned tiles in the 'Little Boys' Room', and on the walls there are framed photographs of the end-of-term play. The playground, with its great glass canopy is now a popular beer garden, the tottering piles of schoolbooks are part of the bar and the spacious interior attracts a lively crowd at all times - even after the bell has gone.

Great pub! Massive beer garden, very reasonably priced for west end, loads of TVs & also a good atmosphere especially on big sport days. Staff always helpful & friendly.
Staff great. Good covid restrictions being adhered to. We got the Sunday roast dinners . Unfortunately a bit dried up. Other than that pretty good place for a drink.
Guinness was OK, chips and fries too, watched there football, atmosphere is nice but TVs are a bit far from where I was seated. Nice place.
This pub has the whole safe socialising down to a fine art. Well done and thank you for your efforts.
Good for a drink, dont waste your time if you want food. Kitchen staff and waiting staff have zero communication. Main courses come out in stages, when 1 person finishes the next person get served, embarrassing for what used to be a great establishment.
Staff did a great job enforcing COVID rules. I felt very safe and enjoyed my time out.

Used to be a great bar before the lockdown. Can't say it has kept the same atmosphere but the staff are still great and the Covid restrictions are as well as they can be. A good and safe place to enjoy a drink on Woodlands road.
