Just popped in this evening for dinner, Was great to get away from my home Village of Mevagissey for a change of scenery. I had heard the food was good and to a high standard and was definitely not disappointed, The steak was superb, and my partner’s fish was exquisite and the desserts were something in themselves very special. My partner being Brazilian enjoyed chatting to the Portuguese manager and also a Portuguese waiter, which was an added bonus.nNearly Forgot to add the cocktails were also a great surprise. We will definitely be coming again and would recommend this to locals and travellers alike.
This place was fantastic. So friendly and welcoming, especially to our dog. Added touch of putting a dog bed and water bowl in our room was perfect. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. 5 stars all around and will definitely be returning
I came here with my family for my dad’s birthday and we had a really great time! We all had steaks and shared a sticky toffee pudding. The food was incredible and the people were so lovely and welcoming. Would definitely go back!
We popped into Fowey and fancied a snack, we had passed The Old Quay Hotel many times but never visited it. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff and taken to our table. Our order of a crab sandwich was served promptly with a nice glass of wine. Both food & drink was tasty plus the surroundings were excellent with views of the estuary. Hopefully our on next visit we will take the opportunity to to stay.
This is arguably the best room with a view in Fowey! This visit was December with Storm Darragh raging all over the rest of the country and County! The best lunch I’ve had in ages and a wonderful dinner an excellent chef! and very good staff! A very comfortable super-king bed and the view over to Polruan is fairy tale stuff
