My wife and I came to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary at the Old Quay House and we had the most wonderful weekend. The staff made us feel incredibly welcome, and made everything perfect. The room was excellent with views looking out over the river and the food served for breakfast and supper is absolutely delicious. If the weather is good, the team will lay out breakfast on the terrace for you, which is the perfect spot to watch the boats sailing in and out of the harbour. The team also left us a super bottle of Champagne in our room, which was a lovely surprise after a long day walking along the cliff paths. Located in the centre of Fowey, The Old Quay House is a MUST hotel to stay at.

Stayed for a night in the Loft, room was excellent. Presented really well everything you needed was there. We ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing, highly recommended. Good choice of gins to choose from. Staff are very friendly and happy to help. Great place and will be definitely back again.

So staying at the old quay house for two nights with family. Lovely room and views. Bed and linen is lovely and cosy and room facilities are great. Staff are very friendly. Only downside so far is the lunch menu. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the eastry with a great g&t just fancing a lovely fresh sandwich for lunch and the only option was a three course menu...very disappointed to have to move and find somewhere else to eat. When guestioned, the manager said that he is wanting to be a little different from surrounding restaurants which is great but restaurant was empty. Lost the sale of four for lunch and a bottle of wine.

Fantastic boutique hotel. Rooms spacious and well presented. Food was SUPERB with many choices for dinner. We worked our way through the mains and were not disappointed. It has an extensive wine list to compliment the menu and the prices were fair. Service from all of the staff was exemplary. Would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone that appreciates good food , good wines and great service. We will return soon.
