Carvery was excellent and decent value with a free starter, the main meal plates were on the small side, unfortunately the service was slow on not a particularly busy period, and we went as a family of 13, it was a first for us all, that we had to clear the starter plates to a spare table to enable us to start on our main meal. Service probably better n another day

£16 for a three course Christmas lunch sounds like a bargain but the Christmas lunch at Mr school for £2.50 was better. Food was bland, overcooked and unimaginative. The cold Christmas pud was inedible. But the service was attentive and we each got a cracker so that was nice.

No WiFi. Ask for sandwich no requested meat. All in all not off to good start

Staff are friendly Great portions and good quality carvery. Very good value for money in our opinion

Had one really nice meal and then one that was rubbish. A bit overpriced with a limited menu. I found another pub 10min walk away with consistant great food much cheaper and even cheaper beer
