Lovely but lively pub on a Saturday night plenty of staff at bar so no waiting. Typical pub grub but serves it hot and promptly in a timely manner and party of 10 eating we all received our meals together. Staff cleared plates promptly once we had all eaten. Toilets clean and had good supplies of all necessities. Last time i visited was 7years again for a reunion a§ I live over 100 miles. It had a facelift and I was pleasantly surprised how good it looked both outside and inside it is on a main road so taxi and buses are available as it approx 2-3 miles from town centre. Would visit it more often if I lived nearer.

Stopped off for a quick lunch on a Saturday lunchtime. Staff were attentive, food was good value

We had a very nice night the staff where very attentive and we didn't wait long at the bar even though it was busy. Background music was at just about the right volume. Toilets where clean and fresh smelling. will go again

Booked work Christmas lunch today got to say it was terrible. After 1 hour only had starters, veg not cooked on main course, gluten free meal not prepared. All meals were pre ordered so knew what we wanted. No excuses or apologies given we were really disappointed. Sorry to say we will not be going back

Had tea with friends. Had a burger and sweet potato fries. All were delicious. Staff were friendly.
