We loved our stay in this peaceful, impeccably clean and authentically furnished and presented B&B in Norfolk. Thank you Merryl and Steve for welcoming us and providing wonderful help and service during our stay in your delightful B&B. We can confidently recommend The Old Bakery to any traveller who wants comfort, authenticity and Old English style for their stay in this peaceful and pleasant part of the world

We stayed two nights, whilst on a walking break. The Granary room, and its facilities was superb and spotlessly clean. The Old Bakery is a very old historic building that has been furnished in a thoroughly modern way, and felt like a Home from Home. Meryl, Steve and Elaine made us feel like close friends , and the breakfasts made with local produce were scrumptious. Thoroughly recommend.

Very well run B&B. Clean, comfortable room with digital and FM radio, freeview TV, tea and coffee making facilities. The room we had was the Harvest Room which had authentic exposed beams and Was exactly as wonky as these ancient buildings demand. Large ensuite bathroom with combined bath shower. Comfortable bed with extra blankets and dressing gowns (nice touch). Quiet at night. Convenient parking. 2 nearby pubs, one foodie, one for drinking. Breakfast was excellent, the bacon, sausage and fruit was all locally sourced. Our hosts Steven and Meryl, were incredibly helpful and generous with their local knowledge. Steven printed us a map to help us in Norwich. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, particularly the massive fireplace downstairs, as it was snowing outside.
