Super lovely pub/hotel recently under new management serving very high standard food. Bigger than it looks on the outside, and with a warm welcome as you step through the door. Great place!

Good food in bar or restaurant. Accommodation is country pub standard. Good beds. Good breakfasts cooked to order. Order porridge in advance! Very fair B&B pricing.

Booked for meal here  28th April.  Peroni did not taste like Peroni. Staff were happy to change it.  Wainright bitter tasteless. Cock-a-hoop ale good.
Food very slow to arrive even though we booked early to avoid a bib group. £9.50 sharing bowl of nachos/cheese very underwhelming for the  price and steak pie pastry overcooked with very little meat in it. Staff,
very polite and helpful. Although restaurant not full they were busy and seemed understaffed. There were customers in for a long wait for food after we left.
Did not compare to quality of food and beer in Crown at Heskett down the road.
