Historically preserved oak house. The oak house boasts some fine paneling and is furnished with 17th century furniture. On December 10th 2017 for two Saturdays you can visit. Santa's Grotto. There will be live music on the 17th December at 7pm. Great place for the whole family to learn about our historical past and how people lived in those days.

My children love coming to play with the sand in the play area and we often come to the many events held here and do some crafts.

Went to a Halloween thing yesterday for the kids. Not enough staff. Waited 10 mins to get served and I only wanted some snacks for the kids. Poor service. Only one face painter on and loads of kids waiting, in the end we gave up and left. Let too many people in and activities were rubbish. Wouldn't bother going back

Nice place!  Friendly and helpful staff!  Pity there's no smoking anywhere outside in the grounds!

Free place to go and learn some good English history. Lovely park on site to keep the children entertained. Beautiful gardens surrounding the old Oak House.
