A small, friendly down-to-earth business run by Laura Nolan, who has won numerous awards for artful baked creations.
The Nuthouse Bakery is a small, independent bakery located in the West Midlands. Our specialty is teaching the fine art of cake baking and decorating. Our regular classes and workshops take place in our home kitchen, which provides a personal touch for as many as four students at a time. We can accommodate larger classes if necessary – or even one-on-one instruction which, if needed, can take place at your home.

We are especially proud of our very popular Cupcake Bootcamp, where you’ll learn everything you need to know about cupcakes -- from how to prepare and bake to ensuring the perfect light, moist, delicious result. We also cover decoration using a variety of techniques and products including buttercream and sugar paste.
For Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Easter, we gear up with seasonal classes to fit the occasion. Want to improve your technique in specific areas? Ask about our specialist classes. We are more than happy to create a class to meet your requirements for a group booking – and what a fantastic way to start off a hen party or other social event!
Where other trainers’ instruction ends, ours is still getting started! We’ll share from our personal experience as a custom-baking provider and will happily provide guidance via phone or email after you have attended one of our classes and need some help to get something 'just right'! We don’t abandon you to a fate of kitchen frustration.
