Went there today to buy a new coat , I was stopped by so called security & told I had to remove my hood from my head or I could not go into shop. You could clearly see my face so I don’t understand that attitude. When I went into the shop I asked a member of staff why , she said it was to keep the staff safe, how ridiculous can this be , how does it make a difference what you wear over you head when you can clearly see a face. I did not look dangerous just because I had my coat hood on my head. I felt insulted so I left that shop never to go back.

Amazing shop very friendly staff but they don’t stick to the opening times it says on line I’ve been a few times when it says it’s open at 9 and then there’s a small note on the door saying not open till 10 or 11

Absolutely shocking behaviour, wanted to try a jumper on and already had a jumper on but was told Im not allowed to try it on in a changing room by the member of staff working at 14th oct 2024 @9:53. Also the customers who were on the till at the time saw me outside body shop and said what she had done wasn’t right. £145 was the item I was going to buy but had a horrible start to my birthday.

Online service - Poor service and don’t care about sustainability. Bought a pair of walking boots and a few days later these had been reduced. Whilst these were still available in my size, they refused to price match and advised I had to return the other ones and purchase the lower priced item. Not great for customer service or sustainability. More packaging and posting required when all they needed to do was refund the difference. Very poor customer service, poor ethics and won’t be using this company again.

Went in on a Monday 23rd October a girl with brown hair at the desk really helped me didn’t get her name but she gave me good advice on how to wash my coat and get it back to normal thank u x

A STUDENTS POINT OF VIEW - My friend asked me why I have suddenly started wearing only North Face t shirts and no other brand  - and my genuine response wasn’t because they’re a great fit, or the good quality feel, or even the range in style that North Face offer - my response was because EVERY time I walk in to the North Face Store in Leeds, WITHOUT FAIL, I am given the BEST customer service I’ve ever received. I’m always asked how my day has been, always asked what I’ve got planned for the week; I feel like I’m having a chat with one of my mates and I love it. They don’t start by asking ‘what am I looking for today?’ Or ‘hi, how can I help?’ - none of the generic, fake customer service you get in a lot of stores. It’s genuine customer service from people who, it feels, have a passion for where they work and love what they do. On top of this, they are all very good sales reps as well; they help me out and give me a personalised service and give me clothes they recommend; good recommendations as well, not just stuff they need to ‘get rid of’ again, like other stores they understand my age, the culture I am involved in with me being a student and the clothing choices match. I hope head office read this review and send the staff some money for a night out to show how appreciative they are. Credit to the brand. I’m a student who doesn’t have loads of money, but I’d rather spend £50 on 2 t shirts in that store than £30 for 4 in any other, simply because of how I am treat in that place. I will be returning weekly and building my wardrobe up with North Face.

Today I went into the North Face Store with an issue from another retailer. An employee respectfully helped me resolve this as he could see I was distressed. Thank you so much.

Great store, had everything I needed, staff very friendly and chatty, the store is clean and tidy, well laid out and on two floors.

Blown away by how helpful, attentive, knowledgeable, polite yet casual/fun and Sam, Carl & Zama hopefully spelt that right were. The only experience I've had similar was with a personal shopper in NYC - which was a very different price bracket!  I spent far more time and money than I had intended as a result of the fantastic team - and am very pleased that I did : Having used all the purchases, the quality is fantastic and I look forward to returning soon to continue kitting myself out.
