Northface is one of my go to shop for my trekking and hiking accessories. I visited recently  Northface Union Square branch to buy a pair of hiking boots and buy maybe a backpack to go with it, sadly the staff appeared to be disengaged and inattentive. Accessing assistance for trying out sizes is very hard. Not many choices on boots thought. We just left and bought from next door shop instead.

Great wee shop. The staff are very friendly, young folks, with plenty patience to deal with an auld teuchter such as myself  There’s a fine range of clothes, jackets and back packs. My family and myself have been several times. Definitely recommend a visit. If they don’t have what you need, there’s aye the Cotswold shop nearby. North face gear is generally expensive, but it lasts, you have to pay for quality. Big thumbs up to the staff and store.

Great little store Decent amount of stock for the size and used several times.  Super friendly and helpful staff, they noticed a slightly faulty zip on an item I was about to purchase and brought it to my attention, didn't have another in stock so arranged free home delivery  Many nowadays wouldn't have said anything about the zip and would have let me leave with it so 10/10 for customer service.

Be very careful to check your receipt when getting a refund.  My husband bought me a jacket for my birthday, I didn't like it so we returned it Saturday.  Instead of a refund, they charged us again! We're now £324 out of pocket less than 4 weeks before Christmas.  The store have said "sometimes mistakes like this happen when they're busy" and CS say "nothing they can do because it wasn't an online purchase".  We have to go back in to store which we can't do until next weekend and it's over a 30 mile round trip and wait 3 - 5 days for the money to go back in to our account.  Needless to say, that's the last time we'll make TNF purchase! One star because I can't give zero.

Very good customer service, the person was really polite and showed me the choices I had for the kind of jacket I was looking for. Bought an amazing jacket for only 95 pound.

Bought some hiking shoes. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Stock is so limited and never updated, especially the women’s section. Not worth even visiting anymore.
