The No 5 Inn: A Hidden Gem! nnHad a fantastic dinner here after an invigorating hike to Smugglers cave in Alva. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy. My only small suggestion would be to improve the ventilation; the fog was so thick you could almost cut it with a knife! Nevertheless, I'll be back for more great meals!
Lovely pub with fantastic food. We went a walk to the Waterfalls and Smugglers Cave and called at the pub on our way back.nExcellent service from the landlady who welcomed us and our 3 dogs.nWe ordered the lasagne and the steak pie which was well presented and delicious.nThe lasagne was served with chips salad and coleslaw, the pie served chips and vegetables.nBoth meals superb value for money and very high quality.nWe enjoyed our visit and would not hesitate to recommend.nThank you from Andy Karen and the dogs
Popped in after a walk along the Dollar Glen, Recieved a great welcome and they had Birra Morreti on tap the food was freshly cooked and very reasonable in price, a hidden Gem in Alva, I'd be well happy if No5 Inn was my local. We enjoyed our meal and will be back if walking in the area again‍
Booked a table here for Mother’s Day this year. I have been before but not for a good while. Lovely, friendly service from the owner Alison. The food was amazing and so fresh! I had fish and chips and my mum has Cajun chicken. Both lovely! We really loved the chips. Nice skin on fries. Sticky toffee pudding and rhubarb crumble for dessert were amazing too! Next time I’ll definitely be trying the pizza. Would definitely recommend a wee visit to here.
