Stopped into the Alloa Wetherspoons for a pint and ended up feeling like I'd accidentally wandered onto the set of a low-budget crime documentary.nThe place was packed with some very colourful characters, which made for excellent people-watching, if not exactly a relaxing drink. The toilets smelled like they'd been marinating in a mixture of pee and forgotten jobbies since the last ice age.nOn the plus side, the prices were cheap. On the minus side, I now understand why.nWould return if I needed a reminder that things could always be worse.

A regular in the Good Beer Guide in what appears to be a cask ale desert.  Limited choice of guest ales but the pub has everything else you expect from a Spoons.

Popped in for a early dinner. Easy to find well positioned, only reason for a four star review and 3 star review is that the chef sent me a raw piece of pork. Otherwise was exactly what you expect. Prices are reasonable and bottomless coffee! And is Scottish style Haggis on the pizza.

Went with my mum, food was great and had a lovely time. Our server Kenzie was extremely nice! :

Ordered 3 small plates Nachos, utterly tasteless and a lack of cheese.   Chicken goujons were hot and nice but had a tablespoon of dip for 5 was not nearly enough l.
