Went for a meal here last night around 6pm for 7 adults. Menu very varied with loads of choices, drinks reasonable for alcohol and soft drinks. We all ordered starters and all arrived on time and all very good. Main meals the same as we all had something different. Three had dessert and they were large portions and very good. We had three split bills which was no problem. Overall a great meal out I’ve never been before but we are planning another meal out for a family birthday. The pub is well looked after and bright, toilets clean all staff helpful and polite. Very good in our opinion.
Had a lovely evening here last night for our annual Christmas belly dancing meal. The staff were wonderful. I ordered the Sea Bass, it was beautiful as were the vegetables. The crumble dessert was impressive as were the portion sizes. A huge shout out to ALL the staff here for being amazing with us & incredibly patient.
Came here with my husband for my birthday meal, what a treat! Our meals were simply incredible, everything we had was delicious. I chose Cajun salmon and my husband chose the mixed grill. I can't recommend this place enough, the food and service were excellent.
A really great find! From the outside it looks like an all day cafe, but on the inside it's a lovely local restaurant. We arrived with no booking, there were only two of us so we could get seated any bigger number and you may need a reservation. The staff were helpful, and knowledgeable of the menu. The menu and specials were good . We had fish and chips and a seafood platter. A great little find
3 of us met up for a breakfast meeting and were very pleased. We were greeted with a smile and shown to our pre booked table. Order was taken for our drinks, teas and cappuccino whilst we looked at the menu. There is a great selection available for breakfast from the traditional to the more cosmopolitan. We all had the full English, well be rude not too. It arrive in good time along with 3 different types of toast It was hot and delicious. Very enjoyable, clean surroundings, pleasant atmosphere and attentive, but not pushy staff. Will definitely recommend this venue, and we will be going back in the future.
Was very busy when we went. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. However, I found one male waiter to be rude. All in all very good though. Has some nice views and it is a good location. Parking was very full when we arrived but still had plenty of room. Food is well priced and came very quickly.Food: 5/5
What can I say? Absolutely Brill experience! Just came for lunch with the family. The staff are so friendly and laid back. The gluten free menu is amazing! My wife was spoilt for choice! Bring your appetite when you go because the positions are so big. We wanted to try the pudding so asked for a take out because we were so stuffed. The steak cut through so easily and there was no need to really chew. It slipped straight down our throats. Excellent quality cooking and whoever you use for your fresh meats are definitely the best quality I've ever tasted Kid-friendliness: Our daughter was running riot at one point and all the staff just smiled and entertained her. Dietary restrictions: My wife is Coeliac. Excellent selection for Gluten Free and they also have great knowledge on cross contamination.
Visited tonight. The service here was absolutely fantastic. A particular thank you to Emma for such a friendly welcome and service. The team here really goes above and beyond to make your visit a great one. Food was fab too. We will definitely visit again.
