We were out with our grandson walking and called in. The pub itself is warm and welcoming. We sat in the back room which looks onto the beer garden, it was quieter so he could run about without disturbing others in the main bar. I can not recommend the burgers enough!!! They are absolutely delicious  and such good value for money. Onion rings are home made and the burgers are from a local butcher. Banging pint too at really good prices. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. The staff are friendly, attentive and can't do enough for you. To top it off well behaved dogs are welcome too. Really looking forward to going back and trying some other dishes.

Fantastic venue for a party. Separate function room plenty of space but with an intimate feel.nExcellent service, from booking to the night itself, the staff and manager were more than accommodating friendly, and nothing was too much trouble.nHighly recommend

Food is all cooked from scratch and the staff are really friendly. Small but excellently done menu.nIf you're anywhere near EAT HERE.nWill be returning.

Great pub . Good well priced drinks and the food is spot on and great value for money . Owners very welcoming as are the locals. Definitely worth a visit .

Very clean and tidy reasonably priced beers, landlord very friendly.3 beers on offer two of which were pale and hoppy, not my sort of beer.
