I visited The New Inn today and last night. Was looking for a place that serves great food and I definitely wasn't disappointed. Last night I hadn't booked but they made room for me so thanks for that guys. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the steak and real ale pie and it was superb. Excellent quality steak that melted like butter and there was plenty of it. Today I had the lamb shank with vegetables and lamb/mint gravy.....what can I say.... brilliant. Lamb just fell of the bone and great rich flavour. Compliments to the chef. Great selection of beers and I can see why you have to book. A must for anyone wanting a hearty meal, great surroundings and friendly staff. Prices were very good for the size of the meals.

Great food and friendly staff. Perfect location near to M4 for meeting up from different directions and good size car park. Reasonable selection of real ales and other drinks but a wider selection of ales would be nice

Absolutely outstanding meal as always. Haven’t been here for a while but the food never ever disappoints. We had steaks and it was much better tasting than miller and Carter 100% recommend you will not be disappointed either!! Very happy customers

Been coming here for about 8 years. Never had a bad meal or bad service. Always lovely hot, freshly cooked meals, plenty of meat on the roast for a very reasonable price. Good choice to suit all tastes, huge portions and the best bit... That you can have curly chips with what ever you want

My family and I visited the New Inn last Sunday and had a fantastic roast dinner. The pub is nice and welcoming with a lovely wood burner near the entrance. WE were shown to our table quickly and the food also arrived quickly. Be aware that the portions are BIG . Both the turkey and the lamb we had were fantastic, along with a good variety of veg. The staff were all very friendly and professional, we can't wait to return.

Thank you Mark and team for our amazing pork and stuffing rolls picked up yesterday,  crackling and apple sauce too. Enjoyed by all at our family celebration. Great chefs, so friendly and fun.  Always great food and atmosphere

I've not been here for 20 years until last night to celebrate my 68th birthday. As a grumpy old man, I can be difficult to please? There was 12 of us in our party, so a bit of a challenge for the catering team. I  can only say the challenge was met with perfect precision.  All the meals were delivered to the table within minutes,piping hot, and plenty of food on the plate. The staff were cheerful and happy to help. I had a conversation with the manager and his son about our shared interest in fishing,both were extremely polite and spared the time to talk. This will now be my go to place for any meal,and I can't wait for warmer weather to enjoy the outside space with my puppy.

Popped in for some drinks with a visiting family member during the busy festive period. Lovely decorations for the time of year, polite, friendly and more than helpful staff members. Each Guiness was brought to the table instead of waiting at the bar. I will definitely be back for food on another occassion.

Went on a Tuesday evening and it was very quiet. Orders taken quickly. Meal sizes are very large and on hindsight I would probably of had a starter with a side and dessert. Food very good and delicious.
