The Mutton Lane Inn
"A Cork pub much admired, the Mutton Lane Inn is probably one of the oldest drinking establishments in the city outside of the North/ South Main Street axis. Situated off St. Patrick’s Street, Mutton Lane is one of many alleyways that lead into the famed English Market and used to be where live sheep were run into the market at one time."

One of the finest Irish pubs I've ever experienced it does not have a television. No sport, no gambling all talk, music, experience and Beamish on tapFood: 5/5
My favourite pub in the city great history and atmosphere. We miss Ruth behind the Bar but with wall paper makes up for it.Service: 5/5
This is the first pub we visited during our trip in Cork. The guys were very friendly with us. The location is very nice and the beers are very goodService: 4/5
Enjoyed this small pub down a little alley. Definitely seem like a locals place. Had some lovely pints of Beamish and met some colorful people.Service: 5/5
Absolutely brilliant pub. Great pints. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Could spend all day here easily.
quaint pub on mutton Lane, the historic alley. the mural running the length of the lane seem to have some Mexican influenceAtmosphere: 5/5
FYI Google thinks this place is smaller than it really is… we went on a busy night after the races, and there was still plenty of opportunity to snag a table inside or out for a few pints. Loved the array of local beer offerings. Besmish is the way to go, but it’s nice to have some variety to choose from. Staff was quick, attentive & friendly. Love that dogs are welcome here as well. Makes for even more entertainment for sure! One thing to note is the toilets are up a flight of stairs, so accessibility is a little limited there.
A pokey little bar down a narrow lane, this has been a favourite pub for decades. Good beer, great music, nice atmosphere... highly recommended.Service: 5/5
Cool Pub, creamy pint of Guinness non branded glass great bar staff!!
Definitely worth finding and checking out. Authentic Cork pub with some great pints. Had a special release seasonal Rising Sons brew and it was spectacular. Note-can get very busy on the weekends. Try weekday if possible.
