Great little pub in nice location. 4 real ales and good pub food at reasonable prices. Attentive service and friendly locals. An excellent place to stop for lunch if driving past on the A1, only a short distance off at a sensible junction. Will visit if ever in the area again

The ferry is a proper local pub with proper pub food cooked to a good standard at a reasonable price. It's Riverside location makes it a great place to enjoy a pint and take in the scenery.

Great pub especially in summer with a terrific riverside garden. Reasonable food prices & fair beer selection too!
