I would thoroughly recommend The Mote, for both superb food and service. Well worth booking ahead. We had a lovely evening, celebrating our anniversary and couldn't have had a better meal. Thank you for accommodating us.
We stumbled upon this restaurant on a sunny Saturday as we’d driven down from Dartmoor for the day. It did not disappoint!! The interior is beautiful and we were immediately greeted by two friendly staff members. The food was INCREDIBLE with so much local produce, staff were attentive and friendly and we’ve already booked to return at the end of the month!
Absolutely delicious meal! I highly reccomend a visit. We had the squid to start then our table had fish and chips which comes with a delightful curry sauce on the side!, the crab rarebit and I had two small plates: mackerel pate and moules in a wild garlic sauce. Not a bite was left on our plates!
Love it at the Mote. Eaten there on several occasions when we visit Port Isaac. Good choice of menu especially if you like fish always a good choice of specials too.Food: 5/5
We ordered the takeout fish and chips and a local cider and we were not disappointed! Absolutely delicious, ate it on the beach. Might be the nicest fish and chips I have ever had. Worth every penny. Vegetarian options: Had a vegan option Dietary restrictions: Had a vegan option
Very friendly and welcoming staff, with a lovely atmosphere. We had a very impressive roast dinner in size and taste! Proper food done well. Highly highly recommend and we will be back!
OK so everything is right about this place. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is stunning, couldn't choose so went for 4 starters and each was amazing. Even the weather played ball and the view of the slip way was prime people watching.
After a walk along the costal path, I couldn’t wish for anywhere better to stop for a bite to eat, a cold drink and great atmosphere. The Mote is sat right on the edge of the harbour and serves amazing seafood and drink
We managed to get a space at the Mote and I'm so glad we went. The food was delicious and fresh me and my partner have dined in many fine restaurants but ill have to say this place left us speeches. The flavours, portion sizes and services were superb. Thank you for making our anniversary so memorable the staff member leo had such great service manners. Will definitely be back if we ever have the chance to come back to this beautiful town.
Had a superb lunch here. The host couldn't have been friendlier or more welcoming even our two dogs got biscuits, the food was delicious - we opted for the banana blossom 'fish' and chips - and the building itself is amazing. Well worth a visit. The other diners seemed very happy too!
