These guys go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable and catered for. Superb service, the young ladies who work front of house never stop and are so friendly and welcoming. Our room although small was very clean and comfortable lovely views. Can’t fault this little gem. Car park is only a 5-10 minute walk down to the village.
Had dinner here and the food was delicious with good sized portions. They serve a good range of drinks including some great ales and ciders such as the tasty rattler cider. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it's in a lovely location looking out over the bay.
The service and location were great. But the food was well below par for the price. £16.95 for a burger and the patty tasted off, and chips were hard and not cooked long enough and the soft drink was ghastly. Advised the wait staff about the patty, but they just said it was freshly made that day. So don't order the burger as it tastes funky.....
Avoid if you have a nut allergy!!! Me and my partner went here expecting a lovely meal but once we sat down I asked about there allergen information but the waitress told us the kitchen was small and the can't guarantee your meal, I asked to see the allergy menu only to be told that the manager doesn't like serving people with allergies. We finished our ridiculously over prices drinks and left!
Lovely location just as seen on TV. Walk to and from carpark does the heart rate Good. Genuine cornish pastry available. Just be aware most outlets close at 4pm. And yes you are paying for the privilege of walking through a TV setting.Location: 5/5
We stayed here for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. Waking up every morning to clear skies and the sound of the waves was as good as it gets. We had a few treats on the 1st day we arrived the fisherman’s friends were singing. Doc Martin was being filmed we seen the cast. The owners couldn’t have been nicer and breakfast was high quality. Overall a fantastic place highly recommended but phone the owners direct don’t go through booking websites.
GET GORDON RAMSAY IN!!! Just went for dinner. Got served a warm pint to begin with before asking for a cold one. Ordered a sausage, chips and beans for a 1-year old and they served it on a scorching hot plate. We ordered a burger which came out raw. We ordered gluten free bread which originally came out non-gluten free before we asked them to correct it. We ordered chicken wings which cost £17 but were honestly no better than the £7 chicken wings you could get in a Wetherspoons. Overall, terrible food and drinks that are all ridiculously expensive. Waitresses were lovely but the chef and the people who run the place need to have a word with themselves. STAY AWAY!!!
Its OK, the staff could do with a smile, fast service though and the quality of the food is again ok. Would not necessarily run back to this pub but it has a lot of shade to sit outside hence we choose it because we were hungry and it was convenient.
After reading some of the bad reviews I was a bit sceptical about coming here. The mother in law insisted as she used to visit years ago with my wife when she was a child. To my delight it was amazing. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Food fresh and amazing. Couldn't say anything bad about the place. Will definitely be heading back before we go home!
The food was slightly average but the staff were great. Casey was our waitress, she was very kind. I had a small issue with my order and Casey dealt with it immediately!Service: 5/5
