Reviews
Made the mistake of using this car park with a brand new car. The exits are seriously poor. I could see there was a risk of damaging the alloy but even being ultra careful i scratched it. The exits seriously need a complete redesign. I will be in contact with the owner. Please let me know the contact details to formally complain and request compensation. And do not dare to say using the car park is at my risk - the design is inadequate. Seriously inadequate.
Pros:n1. The location is ideal to people visiting city centre and specifically the Moor.nn2. Easy to enter.nn3. Reasonable price comparing to similar parks.nnCons:n1. Complicated payment system, not similar to other parks. When you enter the park, you'll get a blue chip, make sure that when you pay using the payment machine in the first floor to WAIT and collect the chip again, otherwise, you won't be able to exit the park, as you have to put this chip to open the barrier. If you didn't collect the chip, you'll have to pay £23 in addition to the parking fare for the lost chip.nI faced that and contacted the company and got refunded.nn2. The support inside the park is really bad, you can ring for help using the payment machine, but in my case, I got awful response. However, the online support is great, and I got refunded smoothly.nn3. I tried to use the elevator, but it was out of service, hence, I had to use the stairs, I parked in 8th floor!
Almost near to city centre, good place to park your car if you are planning to shop at citycentre.nThey arranged into 6 levels of parking with names of cities for each levels according to alphabets.nParking fee is £2.50 for 1 hour. We get a token when we get inside from a manless counter and we have to insert coin at paystation at the time of exit and when you exit from the building in car, insert coin at manless counter again.nIt was confusing as they havent written whether it was pay and display or not..
I'm using this virtually every day. Its only advantage is its location in relation to my workplace, which is at Sheffield City centre. The parking has 19 floors not all available to the general public, but after 8:15am it is almost full until after 6pm. The problem is that the barriers will allow you in and give you a chip even if it is full so they can charge you anyway on your exit? - I have seen people arguing about it at the exit with the person on the other end of the voicebox. It very often smells like urine in various places, including the lift shafts, which is not the owners' fault, but it means that it is not cleaned regularly if ever at all. In my opinion, it could take a lot of improvement considering how much people pay for parking.
- Nice location and easy to use.nn- You get a blue chip at the entrance of the car park and need to pay at the PAY STATION before you leave. I tried to pay at the gate of the car park on the way out, but it did not work. So do pay at the pay station before you make your way out.nn- There are some spaces reserved on the first two levels but, once you go higher up enough and avoid those spaces, you should be okay. I think I went up two levels where I did not see any signs on the walls any more.
