On 28th November I arrived with at least 45 minutes to spare before my appointment at ENT and after circling over 10 x I could not park! I pleaded with the attendant to let me in as otherwise I would lose my appointment and although i could clearly see there were spaces i could see at least 6 from Glossop Rd side, he kept it coned off. After my last circle round, he ushered 3 vehicles in then cut me off again. I was in floods of tears and of course missed my appointment which was cancelled. Disgusting! It's usually hard to park but attendants judgement that day was just spiteful.
Unfit for purpose. The whole structure is far too small to serve the patients of the hospital, who may be arriving in pain, distress and with limited mobility. Hardly any spaces available at any time. The bays are extremely small and leave no room to get in and out of your car. Hardly enough room to manoeuvre or turn around even in my tiny Polo. In poor condition, dirty and overpriced. A disgraceful effort for a hospital.
No spaces everyone at stand still traffic on A road 30 mins this morning , then have some idiot shut abuse ,received it back aswell.carpark staff just stood thinking it was funny ,I was only trying to pick up an elderly relative stood out in the cold not funny .Hallamshire please sort this problem out, obviously need more parking
Good hospital very clean and efficient reporting for my appointment early evening within a few minutes l seen for my appointment and the people were very helpful explaining the problem.and within a day gave a appointment for my operation. very efficient and professional service
Visited with my mother in law for an appointment who uses a scooter due to mobility issues. There were no blue badge spots available on the ground floor so we had to go up higher. Unfortunately as the car park has no lift we had to come down the car ramp with the scooter which was so unsafe.nnLuckily the guys working on the car park were really helpful and actually stopped cars once we got to the ground floor so we could get across to the pedestrian exit. Or we would have had to potentially go under the barrier to get out or deal with cars coming and going to get across both exit and entrance lanes.
