Card Only Payment at this car park and no option for cash so have to plan in advance. Very easy to drive in, out and around the carpark.nWalking out of the place and crossing the road is a nightmare especially with young children going to the children's hospital. There is no safe place to cross the road and no link bridge. Clearly a major failure of the local authority to allow such a dangerous situation.nThe cost is a bit steep too for what it is.

Still sitting in the top floor  an hour after the end of a gig at the Octagon. Traffic not moving.  Can't believe how poor the design of the exit / ticket system is. Still only one exit barrier working despite this being in previous comments. We have a 2 hour drive ahead if we ever get out.nNo number working to ask for help to release everyone.  Completely unacceptable.nWill never use Q-Park again!

Used several different Q car parks several times without issues. 3rd time using this car park for concerts at the Octagon, but last night will be the last after spending an hour getting out of the car park.nn1st and 2nd time, there were queues for paying and getting out as expected, but no way near the amount of time taken getting out as last night. There is slight compromise in using this car park with the convenience of the location near to the Octagon.  Note the 2nd time using this car park, back on the 14th Nov was charged £10 rather than £4.40 for parking after 7pm.nnAs per another review from 2 weeks ago, only one exit barrier was in use again last night!  The single barrier in use was the cause of the hour long queue and had nothing to do with the volume of traffic outside, as per past experience.

Don't park here for events at the octagon unless you like spending hours queuing to pay and exit.nnFirstly it didn't charge me the advertised evening rate and overcharged me.nnSecondly it took us over an hour in a queue to actually exit the car park from level 2 after an event at the octagon because only one exit barrier was working and this barrier was really slow at processing cars and payments and the exit route layout is not ideal.nThis carpark is next to a venue - The barriers, road layout and payment setup should be designed to deal with this.
