One of the best meals I've had in years and I only nipped in as it was somewhere close to the hotel serving food. A friendly welcoming atmosphere but the food was absolutely amazing.nHighly recommend the small plates as the Teriyaki belly pork is out of this world.nAlready recommended to friends who live relatively close by and if I'm ever passing by again, I'll be coming back for sure.
Popped in after work and was tempted to have some food to go with my usual few pints. Hadn't tried the chicken burger before but so glad I did tonight. Breaded chicken was perfectly cooked and presented, staff are excellent. Will definitely be ordering this again.
Avoid! Service and waiting time for food is awful. Tried to reach out to them privately to discuss a £200 night they ruined but nobody can be bothered to respond - listen to the GENUINE trip advisor reviews and visit the other new local pubs who seem to care about customer service!
Called in as was passing we decided to order food, the guy behind the bar was so helpful my partner ordered pie I ordered a rib eye steak when it arrived it looked slightly grey in colour and when I tasted it it tasted off so much I wouldn't give it to my dog. I sent a message and was promised a call from laura I still haven't had a call and that was Monday also the peppercorn sauce was runny and no taste.. will not be going back!!
Never had a Sunday roast in here before but so glad we did today. The plate was loaded with meat, veg, roasties, stuffing and a Yorkshire. Gravy was gorgeous. Will definitely be my first port of call for a Sunday roast from now on. May even think twice about ordering a starter next time as I was stuffed but the pate was lovely!! Hubbie also tells me the pint is clean and tasty
