This is a lovely pub, with a great atmosphere. Nice bar staff, very attentive. Good selection of beers and ciders ratterler, Stowford press . I love the outside garden area, huge canapé and plenty of spaces to sit. Loved that you can order drinks to your table using an app.....all around great experience and will definitely be returning next time in the area

Whatever you think makes a pub great, you'll find at The Mitre! Friendly Staff? Yes! Friendly, helpful and genuine customer service. Great location. Cosy, warm feeling. I'm not a pub guy. But I LOVE this one. Oh, and they have a beautiful outdoor area too. Great for summer. Great for winter.. They have heaters! :

Summary: Badly managed, but a great location and Pint. To constructively adjust my review: For the past few years I have been to the Mitre and have seen my friends being dragged behind the bar, even when they’re not on shift because management can’t create a rota that actually fulfills the need of a busy pub. Never has anyone that this happened to not complained about it afterwards because they feel pressured and guilt tripped by their managers to help out on their own night off. After two years of continuous witnessing of complaints, I feel like this has to be held publicly accountable. Pete, messaging people who are on your payroll and are my friends to beg to take a review down, is unprofessional to say the least. The Mitre is a lovely pub with a great Guiness on tap, but the management needs to be sorted and reviews need to be welcomed not intimidated against ESPECIALLY while still in the pub. Reviews are for improvements, and having staff members repeatedly ask to take a review down, shows bad management once more.

Although the Mitre does not serve food, they allow other places to delivery which is amazing! The pub and patio is absolutely beautiful! The people and staff are friendly. They have a wide selection of beer and cider for a good price!! I highly suggest spending time to drink here, you will not be disappointed!
